Terms & Conditions

Quadzilla X-Adventures provides quad bike tours to the public, which are considered motorsports where the rider sits on and operates these vehicles like a motorcycle, but with extra wheels for added stability at slower speeds. Quad biking is suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced riders. However, there are potential risks involved when riding at high speeds or on unknown or rough terrain.

Sand dunes offer an exhilarating experience for quad biking, but the terrain is ever-changing, which means it can be dangerous if you are not familiar with the landscape. Steep and sudden drops could lead to rollovers that can be serious or even fatal. The risk of rollover increases when travelling at high speeds or through unfamiliar terrain.

You and your dependents, for whom you may be a parent, guardian, or person in loco parentis, must carefully follow the instructions of the tour guides at all times.

Medical Conditions & Safety

It is important that you and your dependents have no medical condition that would make participation unwise. If you are unsure whether you or your dependents should participate, please do not ask our guides, as they are not medical professionals. Please consult your doctor for advice.

By signing this agreement, you declare that:

• You are not aware of any medical condition (including mental conditions such as an extreme fear of heights) that would affect participation.
• You are not intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol, which could compromise your safety or the safety of others.
• You understand the physical conditions and risks associated with participation, which cannot be eliminated even with careful planning or supervision.
• You and your dependents are in a fit state of mental and physical health to participate safely.
• You and your dependents will comply with all instructions given by our guides.

Damage & Liability

Should you damage a quad bike through collision, misuse, or rollover, you will be liable for all repair costs. The guide on duty will assess the damage, and payment is required before departure. In the event of a dispute, the assessed amount must still be settled. An itemised invoice will be provided within 14 days, and any overpayment will be refunded.

Booking & Payment

We require full prepayment for all bookings. Booking confirmations will only be issued once payment has been received and verified.

Important Notes

Kindly ensure you arrive at the venue 30 minutes before your Quad Bike tour departure time. Should you arrive later than the tour departure time, your tour will be forfeited and not refunded or rescheduled.

The permit office closes daily at 15.30pm.

No pets allowed.

Not suitable for pregnant women.

Cancellations and Refunds

What happens if you are late?

If you inform us as soon as you know you are going to be late, and we have a gap in our schedule after your booking we will do our best to accommodate. If we get no warning or if we are booked immediately after your booking, then unfortunately any time lost will be sacrificed and we will take you on as much of the tour as we can in the time available.

If you arrive more than 30 mins after your original tour time, your tour will be forfeited and not refunded or rescheduled. You will then be required to re-book a tour.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation outside 14 days prior to tour date: 100% credit
• Cancellation 14–7 days prior to tour date: 100% credit
• Cancellation 3–6 days prior to tour date: 50% refund*
• Cancellation 48 hours prior to tour date, late arrivals or “no show”: No refund / Full fee charged

*Rescheduling of a booking on the day of the tour is at the sole discretion of Quadzilla X Adventures and a rescheduling fee will apply. There will be a rescheduling fee of R250 per person payable for any bookings rescheduled 48 hours before your original tour date and is subject to availability.

Refunds

Refunds are processed as per the original method of payment.

Weather Policy

Our activity is not weather dependent, but in the case of extreme weather conditions preventing us from taking you on your tour , we will reschedule your booking at your convenience. However, if you are unable to reschedule your tour, we will refund 100% of your funds.

Weather in Cape Town is often more severe than at the Atlantis Dunes - The Client is responsible for monitoring weather predictions for the day of their tour, and should the client feel the weather is not suitable for the activity, it is then the client's responsibility to cancel or reschedule the tour 24 hours prior to the time of the activity date. (Please note this is only in the event of weather conditions not permitting your tour to go ahead. For all other cancellations, refer to our cancellation policy above).

• Zero tolerance for alcohol, drugs and reckless driving (NO refunds if you do not abide)
• Guests or Spectators : Only paying guests allowed. No Spectators.
