What happens if you are late?

If you inform us as soon as you know you are going to be late, and we have a gap in our schedule after your booking, we will do our best to accommodate you.
If we receive no prior notice or if we are booked immediately after your scheduled time, any lost time will be forfeited, and your tour will proceed within the remaining available time.
If you arrive more than 30 minutes after your original tour time, your tour will be forfeited and not refunded or rescheduled. You will then be required to re-book a tour.

Please note:

• Guests are required to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time.
• If you arrive after the tour departure time, your booking will be forfeited without refund or rescheduling.
• If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, your tour will be forfeited, and a new booking will be required.
• The permit office closes daily at 15:30. Late arrivals after this time may not be accommodated.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation outside 14 days prior to tour date: 100% credit
• Cancellation 14–7 days prior to tour date: 100% credit
• Cancellation 3–6 days prior to tour date: 50% refund*
• Cancellation 48 hours prior to tour date, late arrivals, or “no show”: No refund / Full fee charged

*Rescheduling of a booking on the day of the tour is at the sole discretion of Quadzilla X Adventures and the rescheduling fee will apply. A rescheduling fee of R250 per person is payable for any bookings rescheduled 48 hours before your original tour date and is subject to availability.

Refunds

Refunds are processed via the original method of payment.

Weather Policy

Our tours are not weather dependent. However, in the event of extreme weather conditions that prevent the tour from operating, we will offer you the option to reschedule at your convenience or receive a full refund.

Please note: Weather conditions in Cape Town may differ from those at Atlantis Dunes. It is the client’s responsibility to monitor weather forecasts.

If you choose to cancel due to weather concerns, this must be done at least 24 hours prior to your tour. Standard cancellation terms will apply if this notice period is not met.

Booking Conditions

• Standard cancellation policy applies
• Arrival 30 minutes prior to departure is mandatory
• Minimum age: 5 years
• Riders age 13 years and older may ride independently
• Children under the age of 13 go on a tandem ride with one of our guides
• A permit fee of R250 per person is payable on arrival to access the dunes
• The permit office closes at 15:30 daily
• Strictly no alcohol, drugs, or reckless driving (no refunds will be issued for non-compliance)
• Only paying guests are permitted — no spectators allowed
